Sweet Beginnings Adoption Services is not an agency, or an attorney. We are here to help you make an informed decision about what you want to do. This might be to make an adoption plan or parent. Either way we can help.

We understand not everyone is ready to become a parent, only very special woman facing an unplanned pregnancy choose adoption. Birth mothers should be commended and respected for bringing this precious life into the world. We believe in YOU!

In an open adoption you get to choose the adoptive parents. You can get financial assistance (within the limits of the law) with adoption and pregnancy related issues. You get to choose the level of openness that's right for you and your child. You determine who will attend the birth, when your child will be placed and if you would like to receive letters or pictures afterward.


The decision to place a child for adoption is a difficult one. It is an act of great courage and much love. Adoption is permanent. Prospective adoptive parents are screened and give a great deal of information about themselves. They are visited in their homes by social workers and must provide personal references. The agency will not approve a home study unless they feel that this will be a safe and loving home. Without a home study there cannot be a legal adoption.  All of our parents are home study approved.
